An initial consultation is essential before booking a session, during this consultation, I will take your health history and discuss your situation to create a personalised treatment plan to work towards your goals together. Afterwards, I will explain how the brain works in order for you to understand how the workings of the mind and how you can regain control of your life. During these relaxed and open conversation sessions, we will use a combination of psychotherapy techniques to complement the hypnosis/trance work. These methods are designed to create fast, long-lasting, and positive changes in your life. The number of sessions required will depend on your specific circumstances and goals.

I’ll share some fascinating insights from the latest neuroscience to explain how our brains work, why we experience the challenges we do, and most importantly, what we can do about it. Understanding the “why” can be incredibly empowering and is a big step toward positive change.

The session will give us plenty of time to connect without feeling rushed.

Stop Smoking/Vaping, up to 2 hours, £75 (half price)

The stop smoking or vaping session is a single intensive double session lasting up to 2 hours, including preparation, psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, and an MP3 download.

We will begin with an Initial Consultation to get a full picture of your smoking habits and motivations and explain how smoking and the brain/body works.

I will then guide you through a powerful hypnotherapy experience. Here, we’ll reinforce positive suggestions tailored to your goals, embedding them in your subconscious to support long-term change.

How Many Sessions Will I Need?

Every person is completely unique; hence the number of sessions depends on your specific symptoms and goals. Simple phobias can often be resolved in as few as 3-4 sessions, while other concerns may benefit from 6-12 sessions or possibly more depending on the circumstances. We discuss a treatment plan for you during your Initial Consultation.

Of course, you are free to change your mind when you wish and are always in control of your sessions. If you feel you have gotten to a good stage whereby you wish to continue on your own, that is fully supported. The essential aspect is you can move forwards in your life with confidence and the skills and strength gained.

For best results, weekly sessions are best initially but can be spaced out gradually as you feel more confident.


What Does Hypnosis Feel Like?

Being in hypnosis feels surprisingly ordinary. Please don’t confuse what you have seen in films or stage hypnosis. Every person goes into trance naturally throughout the day, like when we are driving a regular route or even watching TV.

Hypnosis is a state of focused concentration where you’re deeply relaxed yet completely aware. Most people describe it as a peaceful, comfortable & enjoyable experience, whilst you still remain in complete control.

When you are in a trance state the predominant brain waves change from Beta to Alpha and Theta, these allow you to change the way you think and to problem solve more effectively and you will be able to see things from a different perspective, altering your perception of your life. The change in brain waves will also make it easier for you to take on new ideas and new ways of thinking.

What If I Fall Asleep?

This is completely fine and hypnotherapy is still effective when people fall asleep, the positive narrative still reaches the sub conscious mind. People experience different levels of trance, and while you might feel deeply relaxed, it’s quite rare for a person to fall asleep. If you fall asleep, I guide you back at the end of the session.


Can Hypnosis Make Me Do Something I Don’t Want to Do?

Certainly not, you are in complete control throughout the whole duration. Hypnotherapy cannot force you to act against your will. If a suggestion is inappropriate for you, your mind will simply ignore it.


Are There Any Side Effects?

Only positive effects, commonly feeling peaceful, relaxed, rejuvenated, more energetic and positivity. We’re creating a space where you can fully relax and just enjoy the moment.

Can Everyone Be Hypnotised?

Everyone can and does enter a trance state every day, it’s a natural. However, the willingness to relax and engage with the process is key to successful hypnosis, there needs to be a real intent from yourself to want to get better and achieve your goals.

Can Children Be Hypnotised?

Yes, children can be hypnotised and often respond well due to their natural suggestibility. Hypnotherapy for children is adapted to be age-appropriate and can help with issues like anxiety, phobias, and confidence and more.

Will I Have to Talk About My Past?

The beauty of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is we focus on the present and future, the positive goals you wish to work towards and attain. We can accept but not talk in depth on past bad memories. It is not important to know the why but HOW we can get you to achieving your future goals.

Can Hypnotherapy Be Done Online?

I offer online hypnotherapy as well as face to face, is just as effective as in-person sessions. Every person has different preferences, some clients can feel more relaxed in their own homes, or due to distance, attending the clinic isn’t feasible, online hypnotherapy may also be more ideal for certain conditions such as agoraphobia.
